What types of fish are safe to eat?

I hear a lot about some fish not being safe to eat. Which ones are safe to eat? Also, which fish should I avoid? I like eating fish. But, I don’t want to eat a bunch of pollutants.

  • The healthiest fish to eat are: Albacore Tuna, Wild-Caught Salmon from Alaska, Oysters, Pacific Sardines, Rainbow Trout, Mussels, Arctic Char, Barramundi, Dungeness Crab, and Longfin Squid.
    Fish to avoid are: Imported Catfish, Caviar, Atlantic Cod, American Eel, Imported Shrimp, Atlantic Flatfish, Atlantic Salmon, Imported King Crab, Shark, Orange Roughy, Atlantic Bluefin Tuna, Chilean Sea Bass.
