BCAAs vs Whey

I am thinking about bulking again even though the summer is coming and I was wondering what should I buy. BCAAs or Whey protein? As you probably figured it out, I don't want to spend very much money on supplements so I'm thinking of choosing one of them.

  • If you are going unfed for a period and still training or are intermittent fasting people use BCAAs. When you buy BCAAs, you're getting Leucine, Isoleucine, and Valine. You get these aminos from the protein you eat and from whey. If you’re getting your daily requirement of protein, you're getting all the aminos you need in the correct quantities. Whether you’re bulking or cutting it makes no difference. Your total protein intake from quality sources is what matters unless you're fasting.
